Looking to learn a new trade, but worried you can’t due to lockdown? Fret not as here at Skills Centre, we’ve made sure our courses are available to all, no matter the situation, while following government guidelines.
Work from home via our bespoke manuals and virtual reality software, allowing you to experience a range of basic welding, plumbing, electrical, and engineering skills from the comfort of your own home. This learning will be assessed by a fully qualified tutor, chosen for their professionalism and experience in the chosen sector. Even though you have a lot of free time due to lockdown, we still don’t want to rush you or put any pressure on you to move things around and focus on studying, that’s why we work around you and your day-to-day life. Learn at your own pace and get a step closer to becoming a fully qualified tradesman each day.
Once your at-home learning is complete, you will be invited to attend one of our nationwide training centres. These training centres are fully covid-safe, and here’s how:
- Face masks are worn at all times
- Floor markings are located throughout the building
- All tools and equipment are sanitised regularly
- We have multiple cubicles with wall separators, allowing you to learn in your own, enclosed environment while still being around like-minded students.
We will also endeavour to adapt to any requirements you may have to feel safe and happy working at our training centres.
