Welding Course Overview
You’ve come to the right place if you are looking to become a fully qualified welder. Here at Skills Centre, our course covers all of the qualifications you need to become fully-qualified, so you can have peace of mind that you won’t have to bounce around different training organisations to achieve your dream.
Our course starts at home, by learning via our bespoke manuals and unique virtual reality computer software. From home you will learn the basics of welding and get to experience multiple virtual simulations of these processes, choosing what tool is right for the specified jobs, all assessed by one of our personal tutors.
Once your at-home training is complete and fully approved by your tutor, you will be invited to attend one of our nationwide training centres. From here you will undergo more study work with like-minded students and your tutor available in-person. Then you will commence practical training and put those skills to use in your own personal space, accompanied by demonstrations presented by one of our tutors, and have the opportunity to converse with other students doing the same tasks.
Qualifications & Skills Learned
Our course will provide skills in Oxyacetylene, Manual Metal Arc, MIG, and TIG welding processes, and enable you to weld everything from stainless steel pipe to aluminium.

What happens when I’m qualified?
Once your training is complete, you will be a fully qualified welder! From here you will be able to work as a fully qualified welder in the engineering industry, apply for a range of jobs in the welding sector or even start up your own business.
